Genesis

PM SHRI, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nalgonda, Telangana state was established in the year 2010. The
foundation stone was laid on 3.03.2012 by Hon’ble speaker, Loksbha Smt. Meira Kumar. The
inauguration of the Vidyalaya building was done by Sri. G. Sukender Reddy, Honorable Member of
Parliament on 16.02.2014.
Initially the Vidyalaya started functioning in the DIET campus, Nalgonda. At present the vidyalaya is a
two section school from classes I to X and one section each in XI & XII classes of Science stream with an
effective strength of 766.
Balavatika 3 is added to its feather during 2023-24 and the vidyalaya is gearing up for Balavatika I & II.
Many students of the Vidyalaya pursued higher studies in IIT’s, Medical colleges and other prestigious
institutions. The vidyalaya is spearheading sea saw charges in the field of school education in the district
by effectively implementing National education Policy 2020.
